Aloha Region VII Members
Greetings from sunny Maui!The Hawaii Council of IAIP is excited to announce this year’s annual council meeting, will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Café Julia in downtown Honolulu. We are thrilled to also have in attendance, Region VII RVP, Terri Brennan, and California Council Director, Jody Nishida, to our event.
As is our tradition, we will also host the Confidence While Communicating (CWC)speak-off. While the competitors’ names are yet to be announced, we eagerly anticipate their presentations and the thought-provoking ideas they will share.
I had the pleasure of attending the 2024 California Council meeting this past September. As a visiting member, I enjoyed all the educational sessions, IAIP information, networking opportunities, and relationship-building without the responsibility of planning. What a perk! If you want to experience this “no responsibility feeling”, join us in Hawaii for our council meeting
Like the California Council, we will vote on adopting the OMOV protocols into our local & council bylaws, to mirror the voting process used throughout the various regions of IAIP.
I hope to see some of you in November, but if not, I look forward to seeing many of you in Oklahoma City, OK, in June 2025.
