Council Director Message
CA Council Meeting held on September 20 th & 21 st was a great success. The Host Associations, Insurance Professionals of Los Angeles Inc. (IPLA), Insurance Professionals of Orange County (IPOC) and South Bay Association of Insurance Professionals (SBAIP) did a wonderful job on the planning of the meeting.
California held a vote and accepted the One Member/One Vote which will take effect on 7/01/2025. The Council Board will also be working on holding zoom meetings with our local Presidents & MALs to provide everyone with information needed to assist in maintaining our local associations and keeping our MALs in the know.
I am looking forward to attending Hawaii’s Council Meeting in November as CA Council is looking for ways to be able to eliminate some protocols to shorten the meeting time to allow host committees to be able to hold a 1-day event making it more affordable not only to the host committee but also to the members attending. I will probably be speaking with other various Council Directors to discuss how they currently are handling their Council Meetings.
I am also looking forward to the Regional Hub & International Convention which will be held in Oklahoma City, OK in June of 2025.
