Council Director Message
As we commence our second year in office, I am pleased to share that we have remained dedicated to keeping all members informed regarding developments in the State of California. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Marie Meadows for her outstanding contributions as my Assistant; her unwavering support throughout the challenges of the past year has been invaluable. My thanks also go to Andrea Setterstrom, Robin Fawkes, and Mary Moore-Campagna for their continued commitment over the past year, particularly in matters related to Bylaws, Recommendations, and Parliamentary procedures. I am grateful to everyone who has volunteered or taken on additional responsibilities—your efforts do not go unnoticed.
While I may not express my gratitude as often as I should, please know how much I value the dedication and support of this remarkable group.
CALIFORNIA here we come!! The planning of our California Council meeting is underway. We will be meeting in San Ramon, CA on September 12 th and 13 th . CA Council is accepting applications for our Council Awards which will be presented at our Awards/Leadership Luncheon.
In the meantime, our PR Chair, Jolene Galvan, and her team have worked hard in keeping our website updated with new and updated information. Membership Development Chair, Gina Thomas Patterson and her liaisons have been strategically working on new ideas in strengthening our association. Both of these Chairs and their liaisons have been making sure our members have all the updated information necessary to make everyone’s experience in IAIP meet their expectations. As we continue into our 2nd year CA Council is embarking on new ways to keep all our members in the know.
