Council Director Message
CA Council held our 38 th annual meeting in San Ramon, CA on September 12 th & 13 th.
We conducted our CWC speak off with the winner being Dawn Joseph. Our CA awards were given out this year to very deserving members – Member of the Year, Regina Lemanowicz, CLP of San Diego Association of Insurance Professionals; Mentor of the Year, Karen Peters, CIC, CPIW of South Bay Association of Insurance Professionals; Rookie of the Year, Trinity Tuttle of San Diego Association of Insurance Professionals; and our Gayle Reskin Angel Award, Sarah Jane Jara, CLP of South Bay Association of Insurance Professionals. Congratulations to all our award winners.
Elections for our 2026-2028 officers were held electronically on August 24 th through August 30 th . Final results of our elections – Council Director Elect, Alison Holmes, AINS, AIS, CISR, CPIW, DAE, CLP; Public Relations Chair Elect, Kim Cameron, CPIW, CLP; Membership Development Chair Elect, Jody Nishida, CLP, ACR. We will be working to transition to the new officers and their liaisons. CA is working toward additional zoom meetings in order to keep our members informed and up to date on everything that is happening with IAIP.
Work has started on our 2026 Council meeting which will be held in San Diego. We are looking forward to seeing many of our members at the meeting.
