Council Director Message - July 2023

Greetings,

A lot has happened in the last year.   I was unable to attend the International Convention this year as I had other things that were going on, but I am already planning on attending the convention next year in Scottsdale Arizona.  I hope that many of you are also planning on attending and we will be able to show the other states and regions how strong that we are.

This year I am planning on finding ways to connect with each one of you. What do you need from me, what are you craving, what can I do to help to assist.  I am here for each one of you members, if there is something that is missing, please reach out to me and let me know.  I want to be the best Council Director that I can be and the only way I can do that is with communication and feedback from all the members.

The California Council Meeting is coming up in October in Fresno and I hope that you are all planning on attending. Please be on the lookout for communication on the upcoming meeting and please reach out to Christina Hernandez if you are planning on attending, we are actively working on filing in spaces for volunteers as you all know these council meetings do not run by themselves, we need volunteers to make these meetings happen. 

Please remember to share your experiences and tell your friends and colleagues about the association, we are always actively looking for new members.   I hope to be able to have a sponsor for the membership contest this year as well look out for details soon.

Public Relations this year I want to focus a lot on this let’s get our names out there and let’s share what everyone is doing so that we can all benefit from what everyone is doing.  You all have amazing ideas, amazing plans and lets get the rest of the state of California as energized and excited about insurance as we are.
